Pre-registration is highly encouraged as it makes things run much more smoothly. For any game, pre-reg is open until two weeks before the start of the event. Check the sidebar for more information.
A day or so before the event, it's helpful to check out the weather and make any last minute changes to clothing and gear that you may need.
