Lirite
"Life flows through all things. Our gift and our charge is to protect the purity of that life."

The Lirité believe that life flows into and out of all living things. Impurities done to one will flow into all else. Since life is constantly being tainted, the Lirité constantly strive to purify all that is around them. Most Lirité will not imbibe alcohol of any sort as a result of this belief. They are primarily healers and offer their assistance to any in need of it. The Risalka who reside near a tiny island just south of Salceny granted their magic to them. As a result, music is crucial to much of the Lirité magic. Often the mages themselves are not musicians, but they enjoy having music around them when they study or attempt to cast complex magics. This school is based on the small island to the south of Salceny. Many of the local elves are strongly tied to the school and it has taken on aspects of their culture as well.

Rules: Mages of this school rely upon a focus and Naming. The focus is most often something pertaining to music or the waters, as a tribute to their benefactors, the Risalka.

Meditation: To meditate, a Lirité usually utilizes one of two methods. For those who are musically inclined, the meditation consists of a small tune that is hummed, sung, or played prior to casting the Enchantment. The harmony of the tune helps the mage to harness the fluid powers of their magic. Other mages find greater control in touching water, by running their hands through a body of water, if available, or by pouring drops of pure water over their hands from a vial.
